I am running for Lord Mayor of Wollongong City Council to continue to provide a strong, independent, focused and stable leadership of Wollongong City Council working towards attracting investment and employment opportunities for the city. The strengths and advancements of the Wollongong community over the last 10 years are a testament to the strong track record I have created while representing the community as Lord Mayor.

HOW TO VOTE?

This badge represents the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN in 2015. I introduced these goals into the Wollongong City Council’s Community Strategic Plan as a mean to measure our commitment to a sustainable future based on social justice. Wollongong also joined the Global Covent of Mayors to progress climate change mitigation strategies. We have been proactive doing our bit with much more to be done being an Industrial Coastal City with awesome lifestyle opportunities. With environmental protection comes the need for social justice as well – the load needs to be shared. Thanks to all our wonderful agencies who contribute to our social capital and those who work to enhance our environment.
